Continues from Part 6.
Plywood panel 1/2″ x 24 x 12 (I will use 3 panels) for a total floor of 24″ x 36″.
wood coffee stir sticks, this is a bag of 200, I want to see how much area they will cover.
Titebond Original wood glue
The plan is to cover the panel with the sticks cut in half, creating the effect of a simple plank floor. Then stain it with some wood stain, then age it.
Stained by rubbing it with burnt umber oil paint.
Office Desk. I am using Humanly Posable Armature parts to make it.
M3 nylon standoff connectors, they happen to fit 7mm aluminum tube
3mm drill bit
Four 1/8″ Jeton links links for the desk feet – they just have the correct shape.
M3 threaded balls to hide the ends of the threaded rods and for decoration.
Desk and floor finished.
Continuing with props.
If all goes as planned, Nikolai will be starring in a stop motion film.
A group of stop motion enthusiasts are making a collaboration stop motion project. Each of us take a “job” (script, storyboard, character concept sketches, puppet fabrication, props, animation, editing, music and foley, etc.). We work together to make a short film, and, in return, get the shared rights to the films – for promotion, experience or resume. No pay, just the rights to the video use.
If you would like to join us, please join the public Facebook Group So You Want to Make a Stop Motion Film.
Nikolai The Troll Group is currently a private group and will be opened for public once the film is made.
Thank you, to be continued…
