Base
Tools and materials on the photos:
– finished wooden base – 5″ round
– gold foil labels
– manual hand drill and drill bits – to drill a hole in the base
– steel rod 1/16″ – to make the doll stand, 1/16″ rod fits into the tube 3/32″
– Magic Smooth epoxy gel – to set the leg rod in the wooden base
– felt sheet (better self-adhesive)
– scissors
– toothpicks
I think the gold foil label looks very nice against the wooden finish.
And it is so easy. Just type the doll and your name in the Word document template, print, peel and stick. Instant elegance.
The recommended template is Avery 8257. My computer did not have it, so I used a compatible Avery 6870.
Drill the through hole for the rod.
Set the rod in the base with magic smooth epoxy.
Put a piece of felt on the bottom, so that it looks finished and does not scratch the furniture.
All done.
Time for glamour shots.
Thank you for watching, I enjoyed making Miss Marple and I hope you like her.
