*Taking Course “The Art of Sculpting with Philippe Faraut” Part 1

Good morning.
Following up on one of my 2016 New Year Resolution: take sculpting lessons.
So I purchased several sculpting courses from Philippe Faraut.
Here is the result:

Course – “The Art of Sculpting with Philippe Faraut: Men” on DVD.
The course is about 1.5 hours long,  very good (excellent, in fact) instructions.
The results of the first head attempt are on the photos below. I am happy and looking forward to improving.

By the way, it was a beautiful spring morning in Pennsylvania on that day.

This part is not from the course. Here I am trying to figure out how to make a hollow head – for ball-jointed dolls. The idea is to cut the head open at the hairline later. The ball is PP (polypropylene). The melting point for polypropylene varies from 130 to 171 °C (266 to 340 °F). The PP balls that I am using are doing fine at 275 degrees F (the temperature for polymer clay).
